| Our church has a rich history of missions support. We attempt not only to teach about
missions but also to be involved in Mission Work. Hispanic Ministry
- In our community we have seen the need for church services for the Hispanics. The
services are held in the fellow hall on every other Saturday evening.
Feed and Seed - The ministry to the less fortunate are often
supported by our benevolence fund but we also lend aid to Mansfield's store front
ministry.
Our Mission Committee helps in coordinating our Mission offering for State, Home and
Foreign Missions each year. Since we have church members who serve as missionaries at home
and overseas, we have an added interest in praying for and supporting missions. We also
sponsor Cecilia Baptist Mission, Cecilia, Louisiana.
We support mission causes by giving through the Cooperative Program some 23% of all
undesignated tithes and offerings. |
